Molybdenum rod
Material Properties
Molybdenum has a melting point of 2610ºC, a boiling point of 5560°C, a density of 10.2g/cm³,and it is insoluble in water and belongs to the fifth period element, with an atomic radius of 139pm and an electronegativity of 2.16. It is a silvery white shiny metal in appearance. It has good electrical and thermal conductivity, low expansion coefficient and high strength at high temperature (1100 ~ 1650 ℃). Compared with tungsten, it is easy to process. Therefore, it has been applied in high-temperature furnaces, electronic tubes, electric light sources, metal processing tool manufacturing departments and aerospace industry.Craftsmanship
