Properties of tungsten molybdenum materials
Tungsten molybdenum materials are often used in different industries because of the following 9 properties
1) High melting point
2) Very low vapor pressure (this is especially important for applications in refractory and vacuum industries.)
3) High physical strength at high temperature (for structural parts in high temperature environment)
4) Creep resistance (structural parts under high temperature load. High dimensional stability. Such as: forging dies for large aero-engine turbine blades.)
5) High elastic modulus
6) Very low coefficient of thermal expansion (for metal-ceramic structures, metal-semiconductor structures and metal-graphite structures are very important. For example, in the LED field, future V-LEDs that are regarded as high-power LEDs will use molybdenum or molybdenum Copper material as base material)
7) Excellent electrical conductivity (metal properties)
8) Excellent thermal conductivity (metal properties)
9) Selective corrosion resistance
